Bosch heads to Las Vegas to visit his teenage daughter, Maddie, and to gather information about Waits from his ex-wife, Eleanor Wish, a former top forensic profiler. Meanwhile, in LA, Waits begins to follow through on his sinister threats, mocking Bosch in the process. Upon his return, Bosch finds himself in chaos as a seemingly straightforward interview with a witness in the bones case puts Brasher in jeopardy.
