Episode Overview

Wes Carney and his wife, Clair, are eager to start a new life together and believe that North Fork could be the perfect place for them. Wes, a renowned gunfighter, has assured Clair that he would retire from violence. They dream of a peaceful existence, and the Feed and Grain Store for sale catches their interest. However, Wes's past draws unwanted attention from troublemakers in town. Lucas steps up as the only deputy alongside Micah. After Lucas shares a heartfelt story, Clair frees Wes from his vow, and the trio confronts the threats. Following the confrontation, Clair reveals that Wes might accept a sheriff's position in another town, if it's still open.
