Steve Fletcher, a skilled horologist, is tasked with repairing a clock made from the propeller of a World War I plane that crash-landed in France. This unique piece of history has been passed down from the injured pilot's family, and Steve aims to ensure it continues to tick for future generations. Meanwhile, metal specialist Dominic Chinea tackles a rusted shoe-stretching machine, a rare remnant of owner Maggie's parents and their shoe shop. Additionally, stained glass expert Matthew Nickels faces the delicate job of restoring two severely damaged windows salvaged from a Victorian variety theatre just before it was torn down.
