Jay Blades and his team embark on a mission to revive three cherished family heirlooms, each brimming with sentimental value. Woodworking expert Will Kirk takes on the significant task of repairing a model ship meticulously crafted from matchsticks by a beloved father who passed away when his children were young. This ship is one of the few mementos Lesley has from her dad, who she lost at the tender age of seven. Meanwhile, metal specialist Dominic Chinea and upholsterer Sonnaz Nooranvary collaborate to restore a machinist's chair that connects Tara to her seamstress grandmother, whom she never met but received the chair from after her grandparents' passing. Lastly, ceramics conservator Kirsten Ramsay tackles a papier mache project, breathing new life into a black and white dog that has stood in his owner's hallway for decades, a reminder of his vibrant career in the music industry.
