Faced with the dilemma of protecting his family or obeying Eli Voss, Noah reluctantly decides to join the Mennonite Mob. As he struggles to shift from a peaceful farmer to a drug trafficker, he seeks assistance from his cocaine-addicted brother, Abel. This new path forces Noah to keep a significant secret from his wife, Anna, who is already preoccupied with Justina Epp, the manipulative spouse of the recently jailed Gerry Epp. Meanwhile, Bronco suspects the new pastor has tricked him and disregards Chief Anita Kingsley's orders to put Noah under surveillance. He encounters a challenge when he discovers that Mob dealings are conducted in Plattdeitsch, a Low German dialect spoken exclusively by Mennonites. Longing for adventure outside the colony, Tina sneaks into town with Ben, only to be caught by the police for vandalism.
