To cover the family's dry cleaning expenses, Johnny sells their cow but instead swaps it for two bottles of hair tonic. When he accidentally spills the tonic, an enormous hair stalk shoots up, where a giant resides. This giant believes Johnny is an action figure, leading to a series of unexpected adventures.
