Episode Overview
In the series premiere, Paul explores Wester Ross and uncovers the history of Little Loch Broom. His journey takes him to the remote community of Scoraig, where he delves into the art of violin crafting and the use of wind energy. Eager for adventure, he ventures into the hidden wonders of Corrieshalloch Gorge. In Ullapool, situated by Loch Broom, Paul learns the Russian term for parsley and discovers the town's past connection with a large fleet of Russian fish factory ships, called Klondykers. He then traces a red herring that links the west coast lochs to the slave trade history, culminating his adventure atop the rugged Stac Pollaidh.
