In December of 1988, 22-year-old Lorraine Benson found herself at Raynes Park tube station following a festive work Christmas party. She was supposed to meet her friend Peter, who was noticeably absent. With Peter set to leave for Australia the very next day, Lorraine decided to call his mother for an update. His mother informed her that Peter had not yet returned from spending time with friends.
