With Sue Lynn's assistance, Dex sets out to locate the birth parents of a fellow veteran after learning that he was adopted. At the same time, Ansel makes a birthday bucket list for his upcoming twenty-first birthday and recruits Grey to help him tackle each item. In another storyline, Grey collaborates with Hoffman and takes on an undercover role to penetrate a car ring operation.
