Episode Overview

After Ernie's sister heals from a mugging, he and Chris are infuriated by the leniency of her attacker’s sentence. Meanwhile, Amanda becomes overly dependent on David, prompting him to express to Elly his desire to stay with her as a subtle hint for Amanda. However, Elly declines, citing Claire’s struggles at school stemming from David’s lavish gifts. Bob’s arrival for breakfast the next morning makes David feel out of place, especially since Elly and Claire seem to prefer him. With tensions rising, Ernie decides to ban Sarah from Patchetts Pacific. Ultimately, Elly tells David he can no longer stay in the house, leading Claire and Oliver to run away after David breaks the news.
