Ethan finds himself imprisoned and guarded by Scotland Yard Inspector Rusk as they traverse the arid landscape of the American West on a train. Simultaneously, Sir Malcolm encounters a shadowy Native American figure in Zanzibar. In London, Dr. Frankenstein reaches out to his longtime friend Dr. Jekyll for assistance, while Vanessa turns to Dr. Seward in her fight against a rising malevolence.
