On New Year's Eve in 1972, Bobby Comfort and his crew executed the biggest hotel safe robbery ever seen in the U.S. at the Pierre Hotel in New York City. Having carefully rehearsed various plans and strategized their escape, Comfort and his team entered the hotel at 4 a.m. They spent two and a half hours inside, and as the clock struck midnight, they celebrated the New Year with over $10 million worth of cash and jewels in hand.
