The Ice Road Truckers return, facing more perilous conditions than before. Lisa's inaugural journey of the season takes a sudden turn for the worse. Meanwhile, two inexperienced drivers amp up the competition in the "Dash for the Cash." Seasoned veterans Hugh and Alex, joined by the unpredictable Rick Yemm, venture away from Alaska to tackle some of the planet's most isolated and treacherous routes.
