Scout is thrilled when Mia, a woman in her mid-twenties living with MS, offers her a job as a live-in caregiver. Meanwhile, Matt is working on a unique orchestra project but is frustrated when Michael insists on including Tariq. Michael tries to maintain some distance from Linda, but he grows anxious when Sian agrees to let Linda assist with entering grades. Eventually, Linda reveals their affair to Sian. To make matters worse for Michael, Wayne unexpectedly shows up, throwing his life into further turmoil.
