Michelle is in the bathroom, brushing her teeth. Danny learns that Stephanie is struggling with her reading at school. He takes her to an eye doctor, who recommends glasses for her reading difficulties. However, Stephanie hesitates to wear them, fearing that her classmates will tease her and label her a nerd. Her perspective shifts when she receives some encouraging words from Steve Urkel, who is visiting as the cousin of D.J.'s friend Julie. Meanwhile, Jesse faces the tough decision of selecting a best man for his upcoming wedding.
