S04E22 Stephanie Plays the Field
Episode Overview
Danny returns home after a shopping trip. As the head coach of the Giants, a local little league baseball team, he faces a new challenge when Stephanie develops a crush on Brett Davis, a player from the rival Cubs. Eager to impress Brett, Stephanie decides to join the Giants, showcasing her impressive pitching skills. With a game against the Cubs on the horizon, Brett asks Stephanie to hold back her best pitch, the "Tanner Twister," while he’s at bat, fearing his dad will see him struggle against a girl. However, Stephanie can't bring herself to compromise, leading to a pivotal moment where she strikes Brett out in the final inning, securing a win for the Giants. In the end, Brett acknowledges Stephanie's talent and realizes he was wrong to ask her to take it easy. Meanwhile, Becky is also involved in her own subplot.
