Attacker You! (1984)

Overview

Attacker You! follows the spirited journey of 13-year-old You Hazuki, a junior high student who relocates from Osaka to Tokyo to live with her father, Toshihiko, a cameraman returning from Peru. Absent her mother, who left during her childhood, You navigates school life with her devoted younger brother, Sunny, who idolizes her and often tags along to her volleyball matches. As You dives into her new environment, she becomes intrigued by Kyushi Tajima, a striking blonde sports reporter, and is puzzled by her father's intense reactions whenever she brings up the woman.
