Episode Overview
Mr. Soulard informs Drew that his current responsibilities are overwhelming and approves the hiring of an assistant. Meanwhile, Kate finds herself unemployed after losing her position with Mrs. Louder. Although Drew insists there are no job openings, Mimi reveals the assistant role, compelling him to bring Kate on board. Concerned about her past work history, Drew anticipates trouble. Surprisingly, Kate's tough approach revitalizes the staff, who had been neglecting Drew's paperwork. However, her newfound authority quickly spirals out of control. Mr. Wick orders Drew to terminate her. Meanwhile, after Lewis wrecks Oswald's car, he attempts to make amends by entering a contest at a nearby dealership. The challenge involves staying inside a car the longest to win it. Lewis persuades Drew to delay firing Kate until after the contest, leading to a rivalry against a group of college students in the adjacent vehicle.
