Episode Overview

Mimi and Steve are at their wit's end with their endlessly crying baby, but everything changes when Drew drops by and manages to soothe him immediately. When Steve falls ill, Mimi insists he stay away to protect their child, so he retreats to Drew’s home, where Oswald and Kate take care of him. Steve persuades a hesitant Drew to assist Mimi until he’s well again. However, the baby only calms down in Drew’s arms and refuses to eat, leading to an awkward moment when Drew has to support Mimi during breastfeeding. As Drew learns that Steve has strep throat and can’t return for two weeks, he grows frustrated and declares that Mimi and Steve need to handle their parenting on their own. Feeling defeated, Mimi attempts to leave the baby with Drew. When a still-unwell Steve visits, the baby finally quiets after Mimi scolds him to leave, leading Drew to realize that the baby has adapted to Mimi's fiery nature
