During a video call from Hawaii, Mr. Wick informs all employees below the store manager level that they will face a 20 percent pay reduction. To compensate for his lost income, Drew decides to rent out his extra room to a same-sex couple. Meanwhile, Lewis and Oswald seek advice from the couple for decorating their new place. Mitch and Les leverage their contacts to help Drew land an interview at a more prestigious store. Although he secures the job, Drew struggles with self-doubt. Tasked with cutting $200,000 from the budget, he streamline operations but inadvertently proves his own role is expendable, leading to his dismissal. As Mitch and Les prepare to move into an inherited home, Wick arrives, revealing that the store is floundering without Drew. He pleads for Drew's return, but Drew stands firm, believing better opportunities await him.
