Episode Overview
On Drew’s inaugural day as co-manager, he and Wick discover that their store is on the brink of closure. Fortunately, a possible buyer is interested in rescuing Winfred-Louder. The primary negotiator, Lord Mercer, has a dislike for Drew but shares a bond with Wick due to their alma mater. Wick insists he can manage the negotiations alone. Unbeknownst to Drew, Wick has started drinking again, which becomes apparent when he stumbles down the stairs at the Warsaw. The potential buyers quickly lose interest in Drew's pitch and demand to hear from Wick, who agrees to assist only if he can drink. Wick impresses the buyers, but after a wild night, he gets into a fight with an investor, jeopardizing the deal. Feeling guilty, Drew considers rehab for Wick but decides to let him drink until the next day’s cocktail party. After Drew admits to enabling Wick, Lord Mercer is taken aback.
