Episode Overview

Connell and Marianne's romance remains clandestine as they share their first intimate night together. Back at school, Connell concocts reasons for not meeting up with friends over the weekend and dodges inquiries about his mother's employment at Marianne’s place. Meanwhile, Rachel, a member of his friend group, grows frustrated with Connell's apparent disinterest, creating mounting pressure for him.
