Mystery Science Theater 3000 (1989)

Episode Overview

In the theater, the crew is captivated by a scene where a giant praying mantis, mutated by atomic radiation, launches an assault on the North Pole in "The Deadly Mantis" (1957). Back on Earth, Pearl, Bobo, and Dr. Peanut unintentionally, with some assistance from Mike, trigger a bomb that obliterates the planet. The crew gathers to pay their respects to Pearl, only for her to unexpectedly call them, promising to track them down throughout the cosmos.
