Using his psychic abilities, Cole uncovers how Zin managed to smuggle his associates into Chicago: by taking control of train passengers. Although he connects to the station's surveillance, the identities of the criminals remain elusive. Meanwhile, an Inixian named Kaden is peddling an alien substance to both his criminal peers and unsuspecting humans. One of Jess' friends suffers a heart attack from the drug. Tracking the toxic emissions from its production, Cole follows Kaden to a mobile drug party. Demonstrating a newfound power to temporarily alter his form, Cole impersonates a guard and gets close enough to Kaden to seize his life force.
