Peter swaps his guitar for a treasure map from a slick con artist. The Monkees find themselves on a remote island in search of riches, only to be pursued by a deranged Australian named Monte Landis and his sidekick, Thursday (Rupert Crosse). As they navigate the challenges of treasure hunting, they must also evade their relentless pursuers.
