New mom Lucy confesses her fears about everything, from theme park rides to sewing needles, making the prospect of childbirth feel overwhelmingly daunting. She wonders how her small frame will accommodate the baby’s arrival. Meanwhile, her devoted boyfriend Sam has meticulously arranged a surprise proposal and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the rings from eBay. However, amidst the excitement, anxiety swiftly takes hold. At Southmead Hospital, Amy and her husband Paul, a naval engineer, prepare for an induction. A quick check reveals that Paul is more squeamish than he anticipated. Dianne, anxious about childbirth due to previous complications, and her husband John have chosen an elective Caesarian this time. However, their nerves start to escalate as the day approaches.
