Episode Overview

In the season six premiere, Southmead Hospital in Bristol welcomes fourth-generation twins. Mel, an identical twin herself, unexpectedly goes into labor, forcing her to decide between her husband and her sister as her birthing partner. Meanwhile, Su and her younger partner Dan arrive at the hospital excited, but their plans for a caesarean are unexpectedly changed when their breech baby flips, allowing for a natural birth instead. Lastly, Katy and Rob are racing against time to reach the delivery suite before their second child arrives, with Rob fervently hoping for a boy this time.
