Following an accident that leaves his father Ethan wounded, Nucky seizes the chance to renovate his old family home. Meanwhile, on a double date with her new friend Annabelle and her partner, Margaret attempts to coax Nucky into discussing some of his difficult childhood experiences. During a trip to a military hospital, Jimmy forms a bond with the disfigured veteran Richard Harrow, whose keen perception becomes a crucial asset.
