Episode Overview
To earn some extra credit, Simon steps up to help paint a holiday mural with a few classmates. However, the other students are wary of him, fearing he might report them for inhaling paint fumes. When one of them ends up hospitalized, Simon is wrongly blamed for supplying the paint. After confronting the boy, he decides to tell his parents the truth. Meanwhile, Mary becomes excited about her community service after meeting her dream guy, Robbie Palmer. Although Eric and Annie are uncertain about her dating during her punishment, they agree to let Robbie contact her. Matt is upset to discover that Shana is transferring to NYU, and his father gave her a recommendation without informing him. Meanwhile, Ruthie wins a prize for her art project featuring a sculpture of the Camden family noses.
