Ruthie is overjoyed when her emotional parents, Eric and Annie, finally give her the green light for her first date. True to form, the Camden family dives into their usual antics to help her prepare for the occasion. Annie and Lucy take charge of her makeover for the date with Vincent (guest star Thomas Dekker), while Kevin steps in to deliver “the talk.” Meanwhile, Sam and David don their Sunday best to tag along, and a protective Martin, along with Mac (guest star Kyle Searles), decide to keep an eye on the couple. Matt, eager to be the chaperone, ends up tangled in a series of lies to shield Ruthie’s feelings.
