Episode Overview

Sean's adventure continues as he travels through the Llyn Peninsula in north west Wales. He begins in Bangor, where he boards the 1930s sailing vessel, the Vilma, to assist in navigating the challenging Menai Strait. This narrow body of water divides Anglesey from North Wales and is infamous for its treacherous conditions, particularly the 'Swellies'—a labyrinth of hidden shallow rocks and swirling whirlpools waiting just beneath the surface.
