Danny is discovered trying to sneak out office painkillers for his troublemaking childhood buddy, Stevie, who instantly hits it off with Mindy. Meanwhile, Mindy is taken by surprise when Heather, Josh's ex who caused chaos at her Christmas party, appears at her door seeking approval to move into her apartment complex. Although Mindy agrees, she quickly starts devising plans to sabotage Heather's rental application.
