Chase, the former roommate whose life Max has turned upside down, expresses a desire for revenge, claiming Max's existence is so dismal that it's "un-sabotagable." Determined to change this perception, Max enlists Jane’s help to improve his situation. In a parallel storyline, Alex seeks assistance from the group after Dave dares her to finally redeem her extensive collection of Groupons.
