Title: The Dilemma Plot: Initially tasked with aiding German officials in tackling a series of bank heists carried out by Western criminals in post-reunification East Germany, Peter soon discovers a deeper plot involving a significant IRA operation. It emerges that prior to the Berlin Wall's fall, the East German regime had sheltered some infamous IRA members. During a harrowing night in a Detroit warehouse, Peter is confronted by elite counter-terrorism agents who issue a stark warning: he and Alexander must tread carefully, as Addington has become dangerously entangled. Following a tense meeting with a high-ranking Home Office official authorized by the Foreign Secretary, Peter decides to withdraw, leading to a heated exchange with a distraught Alexander when Addington learns of the connections.
