Episode Overview

C.C. shares her past with Mao, detailing how his inability to deactivate his Geass ultimately drove him to madness. Meanwhile, an injured Villetta awakens in Ohgi's apartment, where he learns she is suffering from selective amnesia. C.C. decides to confront Mao on her own, but he manages to overpower her. Using his cunning, Lelouch tricks Mao and rescues C.C. by orchestrating a police intervention to corner and shoot him. Once they’re safe on a rooftop, Lelouch reaffirms his pact with C.C., vowing to resist the same fate that consumed Mao.
