Facing disappointing ratings due to a shortage of engaging stories, Mysterious Mysteries takes a bold step and welcomes Dib onto the show. Seeing this as his chance to expose Zim’s true nature, Dib shares a brief clip of their encounter in the woods, much to the delight of the show's anchor. However, when Zim appears the following day to challenge Dib's claims, the two engage in a heated exchange, each trying to convince the host of Mysterious Mysteries that their version of events is the truth.
