Episode Overview

Scooby and Shaggy are thrilled to win an essay contest, giving them the chance to dine with the famous Vincent Van Ghoul. Upon arriving at his mansion, they encounter a terrifying creature named Nightfright. In a panic, Shaggy contacts the rest of the gang, who quickly come to their aid. They are pursued by Nightfright and seek refuge in a room, locking the door behind them. Fred devises a trap and enlists Vincent's help to lure the monster in. Eventually, they successfully capture Nightfright. The episode concludes with the gang enjoying dinner, while Daphne devours the food, having been starved for hours.
