Episode Overview

During a lavish performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore, Phryne Fisher encounters the dashing Lin Chung, who has just come to the aid of the theatre's leading actor, rescuing him from a group of thugs in a shadowy Chinatown alley. The night takes a dark turn when an unusual death occurs onstage. Phryne sets out to uncover the connections between the Little Bourke Street Chinese community, the underground opium trade, and the performers at His Majesty's Theatre. She must unravel an old murder, identify a new killer, and exorcise a vengeful ghost threatening to strike again.
