Overview
The Littlest Hobo, a beloved Canadian series inspired by a 1958 film, originally aired from 1963 to 1965 before being revived on CTV from 1979 to 1985. Centered on a homeless German Shepherd, affectionately known as Hobo, the show follows his adventures as he travels from one community to another, assisting those in distress. Unlike the familiar tales of Lassie, Hobo avoids permanent companionship, choosing instead a life of freedom, departing after each uplifting encounter. Though he remains unnamed and his origins are a mystery, his spirit of kindness and selflessness shines through every episode.
