Episode Overview

While ironing, Mother feels overwhelmed by the number of chores piling up and asks Pingu for assistance. However, Pingu, engrossed in a book, suggests that Pinga should help instead. Mother thinks Pinga is too little for the task but she insists on trying. Unfortunately, Pinga spills some items on the floor and gets scolded, leading her to cry, but Mother quickly comforts her. Next, Mother hands Pingu some large cloths to put away. In a playful mood, Pingu balances them on his head, amusing Pinga while worrying Mother. After storing the cloths, Pingu returns to his reading, only to be called back to help wash the floor with soapy water. He adds extra soap when Mother isn’t watching, and playfully covers Pinga with suds. After getting cleaned up by Mother, Pingu is sent to work while Pinga plays with the mop.
