S03E05 Pingu Pretends to be Ill
Episode Overview
Pingu wakes up groggily and heads to the toilet, but as he’s about to crawl back into bed, he spots Pinga already awake and realizes he should join her. However, he decides to snuggle back under the covers instead. When Mother calls him to rise, he simply burrows deeper into the blanket. Pinga leaves for the nursery with Father, and Mother, noticing Pingu's reluctance, comes to check on him. When she asks why he hasn’t gotten up, he claims to feel unwell. Mother touches his forehead and fetches the thermometer. Pingu chuckles as he sneaks the thermometer out, dips it in his hot drink to fake a fever, and puts it back in his mouth. When Mother returns, she sees the high reading and quickly calls the doctor. He arrives, examines Pingu, and after a brief discussion with Mother, reassures her that he’s not seriously ill.
