Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu’s neighbor steps out of the igloo to hang up some laundry before retreating inside. As Pingu strolls by, the clothes tumble down, prompting him to pick them up. Concerned, he rings the doorbell to inform the neighbor. Grateful, the neighbor rehangs the washing and rewards Pingu with some biscuits. Later, Pingo spots Pingu enjoying a biscuit and asks for one, but the bag turns out to be empty! Pingu shares how he got them and shows Pingo where to go. To Pingu’s dismay, Pingo yanks the laundry off the line and rings the bell, hoping for the same reward. The neighbor realizes the trick and slams the door on Pingo. The duo then plays pranks on the neighbor by ringing the bell and running away, which frustrates the neighbor. Soon, another penguin arrives with a parcel, rings the bell, and gets drenched by a bucket of water from the neighbor!
