Episode Overview

Pingu and Pinga are in their bedroom, with Pingu engrossed in a book and munching on cereal while Pinga stacks bricks. In the kitchen, Mother feels overwhelmed as the washing machine beeps, the phone rings, and a pot on the stove bubbles over. She calls for help, but Pingu ignores her. Pinga, eager to assist, heads to the stove but can’t manage the pot. Mother quickly intervenes and then, with Pinga, moves to the washing machine. She loads the laundry into a basket and asks Pingu for help, but he remains unresponsive. When Father arrives home, he greets Mother and Pinga, learns about Pingu’s lack of help, and heads to his room. However, Pingu has locked the door and continues his activities, ignoring Father’s knocks. After a brief discussion, Mother, Father, and Pinga leave him be.
