Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu and Pinga decide to set up a campsite and begin crafting a tent using a blanket from the washing line. Their father isn't pleased, especially since they've damaged the blanket, so he gives them some old blankets and tarpaulins instead. After constructing their tent, they start playing inside. Father later brings in some cushions, but as they add them, the washing line gives way, causing the tent to collapse. He quickly fixes the line. Pingu heads off to grab mattresses while Pinga retrieves her rabbit, but Pingu insists it can't come in. Mother arrives with a picnic basket, gives Pinga her rabbit, bids them goodnight, and they snuggle into the tent. Pingu then tries to scare Pinga by shining a torch on his face and making silly sounds. She isn't too frightened until he pretends her rabbit is a monster, leading her to toss it outside.
