Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pinga starts making noise by banging a spoon against a box, and Pingu quickly joins in, hitting a tin. Before long, they’ve gathered a collection of spoons and are creating a delightful racket with everything they can find. Their mother, fed up with the clamor, sends them outside. They continue their noise-making on a sledge, the snowman’s hat, their aunt's dustbins, mailboxes, and even at the post office where Father is working, getting shooed away multiple times. Eventually, they reach Grandfather’s house, where they shock him awake by banging on the table. Startled, he retreats indoors but soon reappears with his accordion. Pingu notices some icicles and begins to play them like a xylophone, with Pinga joining in after Pingu helps her reach. Using a fish skeleton as a güiro, they attempt to play together, but it’s a bit chaotic at first. Once they find their rhythm with P
