Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu struggles to fall asleep while Pinga snores loudly beside him. In an attempt to quiet her, he throws various items at her, but nothing works. He tries to comfort her, yet she remains undisturbed. When he removes her dummy, she abruptly sits up and yells, prompting him to quickly put it back. Pinga spits it out and sleepwalks out of the room. Realizing she’s missing, Pingu follows her. She strolls past their sleeping parents on the couch and out the front door. Pingu tries to stop her but fails. Pinga wanders into a neighbor’s igloo, causing a ruckus inside. Pingu cautiously follows, acting as a bridge over a ravine and guiding her through an icicle cave and up a steep ledge. Although he arrives too late to prevent her from stumbling, she stays safe, while Pingu ends up with a few bumps. Finally, he brings her back home on a sled.
