Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Father takes Pingu and Pinga to the swimming pool. As they prepare to enter, they spot a penguin leaping off the diving board into the deep end, which makes Pingu anxious. Father and Pinga both jump into the shallow end while Pingu opts for a more cautious approach, sliding in from a seated position. Soon, Pingi, Pingo, and Pingg arrive and chuckle at Pingu, daring him to join them at the big pool. They climb halfway up the diving board, where Pingo and Pingg leap in, but Pingu attempts to impress Pingi by climbing higher. When he reaches the top, fear takes over, and he retreats. Pingo and Pingg return to jump in again, followed by Pingi. Determined not to be outdone, Pingu finally ascends to the top and stands at the edge. Encouraged by his friends, he attempts to jump but hesitates, barely catching the diving board's edge. Father
