S03E16 He's Not Heavy, He's My Half-Brother
Episode Overview
Duane's father arrives for the kidney surgery, but when Duane heads to the hospital for his transplant, he learns that his kidney is going to a half-brother named Dewayne, someone he never knew existed. This revelation leaves Duane stunned, especially since Dewayne had a father in his life while Duane grew up without one. The only reason Duane got a chance to meet their father was because Dewayne needed a donor. Feeling abandoned and unloved, Duane runs away. He later returns to the hospital where Vaughn expresses regret for not being there for him. Duane forgives him and embraces his half-brother. Meanwhile, at WYNX, Flex scores a crucial interview for his national expansion plans but gets overshadowed by his attractive co-host Holly, who distracts the interviewee. Jealous of the attention Holly receives, Flex eventually realizes, with Breanna's help, that he has no reason to feel envious.
