Episode Overview
In Crisper County, Easter is in full swing, and cable news reporter Marlee Meade is determined to make a difference. She hatches a plan to revive the old theater by organizing a lively production of “Up With Bunnies,” enlisting the help of local residents in costumes, oversized props, and even a giant 20-foot rabbit. However, she soon realizes that the show needs a leading star. When news breaks that singing sensation Cassie Cassava (Melinda Doolittle) will be performing at her hometown church for Easter, Marlee devises a plan to snag the pop star for her event. But when chaos ensues, will Marlee’s aspirations crumble, or will she uncover the true essence of Easter and the joy of helping others?
