Bill, Nancy, and her young daughter Sarah, aged eight, enjoy a joyful existence in the scenic Ozarks of Arkansas. However, their lives take a tragic turn when authorities discover their lifeless bodies submerged in the bleak, shadowy depths of the Illinois Bayou. The grim discovery leaves the police in shock and mourning over the loss of the family.
